Make tool changes a breeze on your mini mill with the 3DX Solutions LLC Quick Attach Spindle Hand Wrench! The tool quickly drops on the drawbar and allows for fast and easy turning of the drawbar. This allows the user to quickly unthread or thread the drawbar from the collet by hand without additional tools. This also allows the user to easily manually jog the spindle (when the collet is installed) if needed for finding edges, testing rotating clearances without power, or other uses without powering on the machine.
This wrench will work with mini mills that use a 17mm hex head and have a protrusion of the draw bar hex head at least ¾” from the top of the head.
The Wrench is made from a lightweight, durable, impact, and heat resistant ABS Polymer. The Wrench has textured ridges to aid in grip and the outside of the shaft section is hexagonal to prevent rolling on a table.
NOTE: THIS WRENCH IS NEVER TO BE USED UNDER POWER, THE WRENCH MUST BE REMOVED BEFORE POWERING ON THE MACHINE AND SHOULD NEVER BE INSTALLED WHILE THE MACHINE IS UNDER POWER. The drawbar should always be tightened to the proper torque with the proper wrench after using the hand wrench, same goes for spindle removal as the proper wrench should be used to break the drawbar loose before using the hand wrench.
